Terms & Conditions:
Use of the website is subject to the reading and agreement of the terms and conditions. If any purchaser disagrees with the terms and conditions they must discontinue viewing and using the website.

By purchasing products from HSC Ltd, the purchaser ("The Customer") agrees to the following terms and conditions of sale.

Prices:
All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars, and unless otherwise specified GST is included in all prices.

Shipping:
The price and type of shipping will be determined by the size, weight and type of items being ordered, and also by the destination. Rural addresses have an extra $5 charge for Courier Delivery. If you require your item delivered on a Saturday there is also an extra $5 charge for that.  While we do our very best to adhere to the published shipping times, sometimes this is outside of our control and therefore HSC is not liable for any inconvenience or loss caused by the late delivery of an item.

For International Orders – All items will ship International Air by NZ Post which has a 4 – 10 business day delivery schedule. All items up to $250 (NZ) value are automatically insured free of charge to you.

Dispatch:
We will do our very best to dispatch all orders received and paid for in full by 1pm on the same business day. Occasionally this will not occur and HSC does not accept any liability for any loss or damage incurred by you if this does not happen.

MasterSeries products will need to be ordered and paid in full by 12pm for dispatch the same day, although HSC does not accept any liability for any loss or damage incurred by you if we are unable to ship same day. Next day shipping will definitely occur.

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
Where the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply, these terms will be read subject to the application of that Act, and in the case of any conflict, the provisions of that Act will apply.

Limitation of Liability:
HSC shall not be liable to the Customer for any incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the purchase, use or performance of products.

Incorrect Addressing:
If a product is found to be misaddressed by HSC then HSC shall be responsible for the re-delivery, replacement or refunding of the product. If the Customer is found to have given an incorrect or insufficient address, then HSC will not refund or resend the product and all responsibility for correcting delivery will be borne by the Customer.

Photo Representation:
HSC takes every possible care when photographing and displaying products for sale, however items displayed on the website may vary. Although the product you receive may by different to that pictured, it will not be an inferior product and may well be of higher quality. HSC is not responsible or liable for any liability or loss incurred through the receipt of a product which is visually dissimilar to that pictured.

Stock:
We do our very best to hold all items in stock, however occasionally we may be out of stock and your order may ship a day or two late due to us having to source the item from a supplier.

Cancellation:
Once an order has been placed and paid for there is no cancellation of the order.

No refund will necessarily be given for an incorrect order placed by the customer.

GST (Tax):
All prices are GST inclusive (15%) unless otherwise stated.

Warranty:

We do not warranty wearing parts (nor do our suppliers) such as cables, rubber parts, bulbs, filters, contact points, brakes etc and all electrical parts unless they are shown to be defective prior to installation.

General merchandise is guaranteed for 20 Days from date of purchase against manufacturers defect in workmanship or material. Guarantee is limited to replacement of the unit or defective component thereof only.

Any item which has been modified, subjected to misuse, force, neglect, incorrect installation or application is not covered.

Warranty returns must have prior approval from HSC  and have all hardware returned.

Refunds:
HSC do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully.  No refund will be made for electrical, electronic or carburettor parts so please ensure these items are purchased correctly and are installed by a qualified mechanic.

 

If the goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy. Please contact us before returning to kimble@hscmc.co.nz

A faulty or broken item may be returned and exchanged for one in good working order, however please note that exchanges are not possible when an item has broken due to misuse, excessive force or incorrect installation.

 

HSC will not accept a return for any product that has been damaged by you during installation, or modified, subjected to misuse, force, neglect or incorrect installation.

Returns:

NO returns accepted after 30 days.

No returns on Electrical or Carb parts for Any Reason.

Choose these items carefully & be sure you know what Model/Year bike you are ordering parts for. Unauthorized returns will be refused. Each case will be handled individually, but some goods may be returned with a 15% restocking charge if within 20 days of order and as long as they are new, in original packaging as received and the package is clean and unmarked. Authorization to return must be received from us –  kimble@hscmc.co.nz 

 

Do Not order parts for makes/models not listed with the part.

Shipping Damage:

Damage or loss in transit by courier is the responsibility of the carrier. (New Zealand Couriers, Fastway Couriers or New Zealand Post)

Shipments must be opened immediately upon receipt and the contents checked for completeness, damage and proper application as we will not accept claims after 10 days from date of shipment. If there is any damage to the order, place a claim with the carrier immediately and be sure to keep all original shipping cartons, packing, etc. The courier company will want to examine them before approving claim for payment.  

Mail shipments (outside New Zealand) often are held by Customs or the Post office and customers should check with your carrier and also the local post office/customs department if the package does not arrive in a timely manner.
